Foundation for the Performing Arts Center

The Foundation for the Performing Arts Center (FPAC for short) is supported by thousands of generous San Luis Obispo County donors. Working in concert, you provide essential funding for the Christopher Cohan Center – a place of beauty and pride for the entire community.

When you become a supporter of the Foundation for the Performing Arts Center you help to maintain the Central Coast’s vibrant arts community and ensure a bright future for our magnificent Performing Arts Center. Your tax-deductible contributions are used:

  • To ensure that rental costs remain affordable for local nonprofit organizations
  • To support the operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art Center
  • To establish a long-term maintenance reserve for the Center
  • And to build an endowment to ensure the Center’s success for generations to come

Supporting the Foundation for the Performing Arts Center

Friends: Friends of the Foundation for the Performing Arts Center support the Foundation with annual contributions of $25 to $499. All of our Friends have their gifts recognized with gratitude and respect both in the Foundation’s publications and the PAC’s Quarterly Calendar. Our Friends also receive the Foundation’s quarterly newsletter, The Center Line, and are the first to hear about all the exciting news.

Center Circle Membership: Contributors of $500 and above become part of a unique community of performing arts lovers who play a vital role in helping to bring the magic of the performing arts to the entire community. In appreciation of their generosity, members of the Center Circle enjoy invitations to special events, discounted tickets to select performances and much more. In addition to being recognized in the publications listed above, Center Circle members are recognized prominently on “The Center Circle Plaque” in the Lyn and Aaron Baker Lobby of the Christopher Cohan Center.

$500 SILVER CIRCLE
A special invitation to the Foundation’s Holiday Reception at the PAC; the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to select performances; and invitations to exclusive Center Circle receptions and artist meet and greets.

$1,000 GOLD CIRCLE
The same as Silver Circle, plus: A complimentary personal backstage tour of the Center for you and your guests.

“$2,008 FOR 2008”
The same as Gold Circle, plus: Special recognition on the 2008 Center Circle plaque prominently displayed in the Lyn and Aaron Baker Lobby of the Cohan Center.

$2,500 PLATINUM CIRCLE
The Same as “$2,008 for 2008,” plus: A complimentary tour of the inner workings and acoustical features of the Center by the President of FPAC.

$5,000 DIRECTOR’S CIRCLE
The same as Platinum Circle plus: A Preferred Parking Pass entitling you to park at specially reserved spaces at all public performances at the Cohan Center.

$10,000 PRESIDENT’S CIRCLE
The same as Director’s Circle, plus: Complimentary seats in the President’s Box for one performance.

$20,000 CHAIRMAN’S CIRCLE
The same as President’s Circle, plus: Complimentary seats in the President’s Box for two performances.

Business Partners: The Foundation’s Business Partners are a group of prominent businesses, large and small, whose generosity helps to secure a bright future for our Performing Arts Center. As a Business Partner, your company will raise its profile in the community through a commitment to the vitality and success of our magnificent Performing Arts Center. With a corporate contribution of $5,000, your company will receive the following benefits:

  • Company logo in the Foundation’s quarterly newsletter, The Centerline (Circ. 5,000)
  • Prominent listing in the Performing Art Center’s quarterly Calendar of Events (Circ. 20,000)
